From 8 May to 1 June 2025, Lisbon hosts the FIMFA – International Festival of Puppetry and Animated Forms, one of the most original and daring performing arts events in Portugal.
With national and international shows, the festival features contemporary puppetry, visual theatre and inventive storytelling for all ages. Performances take place in venues across the city including Teatro São Luiz, the Puppet Museum and Culturgest. Full programme at the official website.
